Mellin Polilat 1 400gr

Mellin Polilat 1 is a powdered food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of infants with cow's milk protein allergy (CMA) up to the 6th month.
Mellin Polilat 1 is based on extensively hydrolysed whey proteins, which make it a product suitable for infants with CMA.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS : Mellin Polilat 1 must be used under the supervision of the pediatrician. The product can be used as the only source of nourishment in the first six months of life. The product must not be used parenterally.

Breast milk is the ideal food for the infant and should be favored and used as long as possible.

Product packaged in a protective atmosphere.

How to prepare:

• Before preparing, wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat and ring.
• Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle at a temperature of at least 70°C.
• To obtain a well-leveled measuring cup after filling it, remove excess powder using a well-washed kitchen knife.
• Add the level measuring spoons of powder following the indications in the average feeding table.
• Close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder.
• Cool the bottle by placing it under running water, so that the milk reaches a temperature of approximately 40°C.
• Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the wrist.

  It is recommended to prepare the milk only at the time of the meal and to consume it within half an hour.
  Do not heat or boil the milk once prepared.
  Do not reuse any leftover milk. Only use the measuring cup contained in the package.

  How to store
  Once opened, the package must be closed properly and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator). Consume within one month of opening.

  WARNING: follow the instructions carefully: inadequate preparation and methods of use could pose a risk to the health of the infant.
