Mellin AR 2 is a powdered food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of infants with regurgitation after the 6th up to the 12th month.
Mellin AR 2 contains about 30% of fermented formula with an exclusive process, it is also integrated with carob seed flour which favors the viscosity of the product making it a food indicated to reduce regurgitation episodes.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS : Mellin AR 2 must be used under the supervision of the pediatrician. The product cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product must not be used parenterally. Not suitable for premature infants.
Breast milk is the ideal food for the infant and should be favored and used as long as possible.
Product packaged in a protective atmosphere.
Preparation:
- Before preparing, wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat and ring.
- Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle at a temperature of 50°C.
- To obtain a well-leveled measuring cup, after filling it, remove the excess powder using a well-washed kitchen knife. Add the level measuring spoons of powder following the indications in the Average Feeding Table.
- Close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder. Wait about 7 minutes for the product to thicken.
- Cool the bottle by placing it under running water, so that the milk reaches a temperature of around 40°C. Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the wrist. How to store and use
- Store in a dry place away from heat sources.
- Once opened, the package must be closed correctly and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator); the product must be consumed within a month of opening.
- It is recommended to prepare the milk only at the time of the meal and to consume it within two hours.
- Do not heat or boil the milk once prepared.
- Do not reuse any leftover milk.
- Only use the measuring cup contained in the package.
WARNING : Follow the instructions carefully: inadequate preparation and storage methods could pose a risk to the health of the infant.
